Looks like you had a decent time at Brands! Nice car too, always had a soft spot for them, since a private dealer round the corner has had a few. How did the little clio fair against the R26R I spotted in the background of one of the pictures? :P
Well in the morning, when it was very cold & slippery, they had to get out the way - their R888's vs my T1R's. But in the afternoon, with more grip, i couldnt keep up, both my friends in 172 cup's on 888's could though...I'm not sure id call it an upgrade tbh, quicker in a straight line from 80+, but in the corners, nothing in it, i wouldnt swop for one i dont think.
They also sound really dull imho.
Bought some more seats this week - whilst i liked the Imolas, i had really wanted a set of Bimarco Futuras all along, & when a good friend (James @ JMS) offered me his for a decent price, i couldnt really refuse ... Then eBay came up trumps with some 15" Pro Race 1.2's to reduce build costs a little - i'll be selling the 2118's, pretty wheels arent really needed for track car
Cant wait to actually fit it all lol ... too blooming cold outside though!!!

Ok, so i dont normally we, but as of last night, the TroFail is now finished. Chuffed isnt the word, it drives brilliantly & looks ruddy lovely imho
Roll on Donington & numerous other trackdays/thrashing sessions.
Spec is as follows:
15" Pro Race 3's with T1R's, Brembo HC discs, Ferodo DS2500 pads, braided lines/Dot4, Eibach Sportlines, Whiteline rear ARB, Eibach camber bolts set to -1.75 degrees, BTB catback exhaust, Espace V6 airbox with ITG filter, Skoda wonky front splitter, RMD Dished steering wheel, 2 x Bimarco Futuras & OMP 3" 4 point harnesses. Rear seats are still in as i like to be able to use the boot.
Hope you like!!

Thanks to Focused Events as per usual ...
New suspension setup on the Trophy is fantastic (setup for -2.8 degrees camber front/-1.8 degrees rear), maybe not in the wet mind you, but when it dried out; lift, turn in, foot down, grin. Everytime. Great fun!!
No where near fast enough, but simply means i can drive flat out everywhere, which is always nice. I remember Dave. mentioning that he was concerned about going flat out in 3rd through Craner curves (cams/itb's, ie power!), whereas i was pinned in 4th lol ...
Lack of power FTW
Tripod :approve:
Overall, very pleased, shame that a nasty whirring from the alternator area meant that i had to finish at 4 instead of 5pm though :dapprove:
Still, not that bad, it did tick over to 174k in the afternoon
