The greenmachine again (scenic)

So since i last posted on here ive passed my test (1st time 3 minors ) changed the lhf door and ive given it a full service along with a set of toyo proxes, new track rod ends, new ball joints and much needed tlc,
so plans are to take it to the york dragway on the 10th of october to the RWYB just for fun and practice the lights etc, just to get the basics before i get a decent car, and also to attend the Ph- yorkshire big breakfast on the 17th
any tips and advice for taking her up the strip, thought about stripping it all out but would i actually gain much? also can i use my motorbike helmet( it has all the stamps and stickers needed)just that it has a few scratches,
dont abuse the schemic mobile too much shes done me good so far for all 4767 miles ive drove her for since passin my test 7 weeks ago.

Strip it - no.

Take the (easily removable?) rear seats out - yes.

I know im hardly one to talk but dare I ask, why a scenic?

Theres a few reasons why i got the scenic, its been in the family since new, fantastic fsh, VERY cheap insurance for me, and its a big car so i can get the lads and lasses in, also its great for music festivals,camping etc, plus its pritty nippy beleive it or not, doesnt handle too bad either, with the new tyres on now, so yeh,

trouble is im taking a few friends with me so id have to dump the seats at the side of the track which i woudnt be toohappy about.
