Right I've finally got round to putting up some pictures of my cars, past and present.

So just turned 17 and i bought a Peugeot 106 Quiksilver, 1.4 8v of pure poweeerrrr.

Fitted GTi wheels, GTi spoiler, Raceland Enclosed induction with green cotton filter, Colour coded wing mirrors

but... Needing more power....and reliability...

at 18 I bought a 206 XSi 1.6 16v 110hp, just added a GTi spoiler GTi filler cap and GTi 180 Wing mirrors (Gloss black and carbon) Pretty Nippy car but just a stepping stone to the real thing...

Well after swallowing £2100 for insurance at 19 i finally got a GTi, this one being a 206 GTi 180 smile Fitted Full set of SP Grilles, GSR Induction and Scorpion Catback smile Loved this car totally underated, very fast, handled just like a fast pug should - lift off over steer all the way cool

So after having the GTi for nearly a year, my dream car comes along, originally owned by my dad from new he decided to trade it in (after me saying i didn't want it...DO'H) for an Elise Supercharged, quickly regretting my decision i bought it back of the garage and now it is my pride and joy. Just 24,000 miles on the clock Full Janspeed Exhaust Pipercross Viper induction and De-cated wink and lovin' every minute :-)woohoo

Hope you all like any comments welcome

Jonny

Love your lotus, is it much of a step up in terms of performance from the 180? I trust you are not going to put a GSR induction kit on this (yes, I used to have a 206GTi and know all about them wink )

On a side note - is that a red MR2 you have it parked next to in the garage?

Very nice. They are quite good looking cars those 106's quicksilvers. Look just like a GTI, but with an insurance friendly engine... perfect car for a young driver!

Have to ask though... Why is there a bike leaning on that Ferrari? eek

Something doesn't look right.... the lights, the curve of the bumper, the grill?? I can't put my finger on it exactly...

It looks just fine. You can tell by the dimensions, and the genuine Ferrari seats. Besides that.. http://www.askmid.com/ownvehicle/ enter 160TXC into there, and it returns 'FERRARI 360 MODENA'

in reply to a previous poster the elise is a massive step up 0 - 80 beyond that its similar to the 180.

thanks for your replies :-)

Nice garage - red one appeals the most, even if it doesn't belong to the OP.

Thought for a minute that Elise was going to be modified judging by the thread's title...but i was mistaken.

I like those Elises, i really do. smile
