began life as a mint 1.0 i bought from some old guy with 29k on clock , an i reshelled a rotten gsi into it, along with a 20xe engine , coilovers , big brakes , stainless exhaust etc, went for a full std exterior look apart from the softstars and had it resprayed about 4 years ago , just lives in my unit now waiting for the good weather so it can have a run out , will prob be turbo'd very soon though just need a few more parts

Five years ago these were every chav's chariot of choice. Now most of them are dead and you remember that it's not a bad looking little box.

Nicely done and welcome smile

exactly. keep it clean and just use OE for the mods and you've got a decent car there.

lol , i would be a big fat lyer if i said i dont give it some stick , it does go very well in a little nova shell -in the dry , can be a bit understeer heavey but you do get used to it and its very predictable ,

wont take it out in the wet conditions as there is no traction , and dont want to get it dirty haha

ive been a nova boy for nearly 13 years now , but have also got a mk1 golf cab with needs a big restore so where as i can build a nova blindfolded , im goin to take my time with the golf

i think if someone else drove the car then yes it would , if not more. there is a fair bit of a weight shift when you lift of so it can catch some people out , i have got so used to it that if i am giving it a bit of a thrash through the twisties, you have to just keep the power on or feather it through with some wheelsping understeer smile

its sounds bad to say , but it does make you smile and laugh and feel 17 again

nah, got a lot of time for these. they always looked as though they should have something like that in them when they were originally made. if you've got any more pics, get 'em up!

I wonder what happens if you were to pull out the hazard warning switch and push it back in upside down wink
