Golf Rallye is on my list of cars I must own one day.

That is a beautiful example, love it.

Same wheels as my MK2.

A stunning example of a very fine car. Love it.

It's no looker though, I prefer the styling of the standard GTi.

Lovely car!
I presume that as it rarely comes out it hasn't been spotted and added to this list;

That is mint!! Smaller pulley and remap can see 215bhp, otherwise pretty underpowered!!
I wrote mine off 12 years ago!!

Nice enough cars, but not fast. We've had three of them in the past, two at the same time hehe

That one looks mint - I hope it stays that way, as they're best like it.

Looks very clean.

If ever a car needed spacers, especially on the rear, then surely this is it?

Good to see a rallye in such good condition. Heres the one I had, won best in class back in 2004 at the Scottish Volkswagen festival. The one car I wish I still had.

I love seeing original cars, silly details like the proper stereo still being there just complete cars like that for me.

It's quite nice to see one that hasn't been "treated" to the disrespect of a 20VT engine.
I for one love the torque-monsteryness of the G60 motor, though the G-Lader blower isn't that great. Stick a Lysholm on there and everyone's happy.

lovely mate, keep it that way

The rear wheels do look lost in these, but Ive been lusting after one for years since I got into the vw show scene.

Best colour too in my opinion. I would put a smaller pulley and chip in though, just to give it a bit more bark. Weve just had out Corrado G60 fitted with a 68mm pulley and SNS germany tuning chip. When we rolling roaded it a coupld of weeks back at AMD, it made 191bhp and 216 lbs of torque

There more going on with that corrado if you've 216lb/ft torque and 191bhp, as you ain't gonna get that with a simple chip and pulley. I had 68mm pulley, sns chip, RSR outlet, boost return mod, flowed charger, and a few more trick bits and just topped 200, same torque.

You seen these... http://www.roettele-racing.de/shop/themes/kategori...

I think I really prefer this one due to the way the wheels fill the arches better than the originals

Lovely cars but as some have said the wheels look a little lost.

Its a car where the right set of wheels really improves the looks IMO.

Just searching for a picture and found this.

Proper competition car.
