I suspect that like lots on this site my garage changes (too) frequently but even for me went over the top by replacing all three of our cars in the last month! We now have what seems an almost perfect garage:

VW Polo GTi for my wife
BMW 330 xd as daily commute/family car
Porsche 993 Carrera 2 for the weekend

Knowing me I'm not sure how long this combination will last...but not sure how I would improve it. Any suggestions?

I gave my wife the option of the Golf GTi but she is small and preferred the Polo.
I did think about the 335 xi but I have a long commute and 330 xd was sensible choice...but still not sure it was the right one.
If you can give the Swiss police a sense of humour and can turn the GT into a four seater I'd gladly buy one! Plus I'm fed up with losing money on cars. 993 replaced an M3 that replaced a 997 on the basis that it won't cost me £15k a year just for sitting on my driveway... Having had a really good drive yesterday I don't think the newer/faster cars give any more enjoyment either. Of course they are quicker but then my speed is determined nowadays but what would happen to me if I got caught (there are income related fines here in Switzerland and driving a Carrera GT properly would cost me an amount I don't want to think about.....)

Forget the cars, it's the plates that make it the perfect garage.

Slightly less exotic than most!

We have a Toyota MR2 for fun (my daily)
Ford Focus C-Max for family stuff / carrying the dogs, economy etc. (The Missusmobile)

We swap and change depending what the journey entails, if I'm carrying more than one person I use the CMax, if the missus fancies a play she takes the MR2.

I have my dream garage - they say variety is the spice of life...

Daily bus - Range Rover Vogue (black, of course)
Wife's bling - Porsche Boxster (white, black wheels - very predictable!)
My toy - Westfield megablade (black and white - spotted the trend yet?)
Yamaha R1 (red (yikes!), white and black (phew!))
Kawasaki KLX 250 (black, hee)
Ultra Groundpounder 330R - you will need to google this - trust me its worth the effort! (black with, er flames)
