I have

Lexus LS400: wafting around in comfort with all the toys
Fisher Fury: Trackdays and other assorted hooliganism
Fiesta 1.25: Learner car for the wife
Van: For spending 3 hours of most days in noisy, cramped, slow tedium

The van's not mine (thank fk!) but the others probably cost less in total to buy than a years depreciation on a new boring car.

Three car perfect garage (of modern cars) would have to be:

Porsche 997 GT3 as a daily.
Audi RS6 for the wife and taking stuff to the tip.
Lotus Elise for the weekend.

really, if you did any serious miles in the GT3 you would only have powder for a backbone.....997 turbo maybe, just that little bit more comfort

Then you could go more extreme on the weekend car to make up for it - an Ultima GTR720, or a Radical perhaps smile

I've been in a GT3, and it felt fine to me. Certainly wouldn't have an RS, but the GT3 seemed about right. I'm quite used to stiffly sprung cars, I guess.
