Looks quite nice! As for the white car yuck

I put one of those engines in a 205 GTI and it was awesome, a really good engine smile

Was the guy who did it for you the guy who was doing a twin v6 C2 which caught fire and was completely wrecked? He has a thread on here somewhere.
ye he's currently rebuilding it again from scratch, he didnt really salvage anything from the fire, there will be another thread on that shortly i should think.

T1R 's are a great choice thumbup

not sure on the Green calipers but each to their own smile
t1r's ftw wouldnt buy anything else now, to be honest im not to sure on the calipers either, but i think theyve gotta be a mad colour and different to the colour of the car so you notice them, and i've never seen it done before.

Aren't they quite nippy as a 1.6?

I've always liked them and if the wife would have one I'd get one tomorrow.
ye the 1.6(jp4) is quite a good engine, mine had 110hp, they are good cars but it if your willing to pay abit more, i would recommend a German motor.

I've not seen it Done before either , Well it's good to see your not following the 'pack' so to speak and want to be a little different.

Still an awesome sleeper thumbup

It looks like a 406 Coupe engine, the earlier one without VVT, 196bhp and similar torque.

406 coupe 3.0v6 24v, a 1997 engine is 194 bhp, 1998 197 bhp, then 1999 203 bhp, then the later engine from 2001 is 210bhp, my engine is a 1999 without a catalytic converter and 2.5" bore all the way through, im hoping for 210bhp possibly 220bhp, just need to get it on a rolling road.

Hey mate, iv also got a C2 GT and a couple of grand burning a hole in my pocket and have been looking at gary's V6 conversions. How does the car feel compared to the standard engine? Is it a LOT quicker or just feel a bit quicker? Would my piper catback still fit or will i need a specially made one and is this included in the price of the conversion?

PM if you like as im really interested in this conversion biggrin

it honestly handles really well, it is heavier at the front obviously but it doesnt affect handling in a bad way aslong as you've got a suitable suspension kit

cheers mate, when there in a 406 and a standard system, they produce anything from 196-210bhp, im hoping mine will be more like 220 fingers crossed, because its a decat system and a decent air filter, feel free to ask i dont mind.
