Wouldn't both engines need to be the same (as near as makes no difference)? Different power deliveries front and back could be interesting...
The power output doesn't need to be as closely matched as you think.Think of it as a strong person and a weaker person pushing a car. Both are helping it to go forward.
The gearing needs to be the same but that isn't a problem if you are using the same model of engine and gearbox at each end, connected to the same size wheels and tyres all round.

I really like that
So does a twin engined car with 230-240bhp per engine perform about on par with a single engine car of about 470bhp and similar weight? And would fuel usage be similar? I would think two v6s would drink more than 1 bigger engine?
Should be far better, because there will be an awful lot more torque from the 2 engines (but I'm not an expert!). Either way, the C2 V12 will be scary fast!So does a twin engined car with 230-240bhp per engine perform about on par with a single engine car of about 470bhp and similar weight?
