Bought this 1.8 J-limitedII about 3 weeks ago and have got some little jobs done like the heater hoses, CAS and Cam cover gaskets done... also bought the MX5 race series wheels and tyres (uber lights and transformed the handling)

Now need to do lots of little jobs like sort the rear ride height, poly bushes, knock on front suspension, squeeling alternator belt (next weekend).

But track wise im looking to strip it doen further, add more bracing and roll cage, add Sparco spring buckets and some harnesses and maybe a turbo kit. Although i think its been fettled as it pulls so stongly (heads maybe).

Ive owned lots of fast cars but no car have i bonded with quicker than this plucky little so and so!

Cant wait for track days this year!

Yeah it's quite tidy... But not so tidy that I'd worry about tracking it.

It is indeed Staunton

Had one of these with ohlins coilovers, great handling cars even without trick suspension and they really teach you the value of carrying speed through the corners in alow powered car. Just a pity that there isnt much you can do to them to make them go beter without some form of forced induction.

Are the wheels not just team dynamic pro race 2's?

Cheers. They are team dynamics pro race 2s, but they are some of the lightest wheels you can get non forged. 7kg or so I think.
