Does it pull out by hand or do you need specific keys???

I cant seem to get my unit to pick up the CD changer (not that I am too fussed as I hardly have CD's) so this is probably why!!

Previous owner of mine must still have the remote as well

Removal on Page 28, fascia should pop off with the same flathead in the holes, be careful!

It's a little fiddly, just put the screwdriver in, to push the arrowhead flat and then just tug the unit gently. Don't pull on the piece of metal that folds out with the head unit!

Wiring diagram on Page 4

The 6CD has the large BUS control plug for controlling the Disc changer and then the audio leads for the sound from it.

The AUX lead is already wired in and labelled to the head unit (thanks Sony!) mine even had some end caps on the lead as it had never been used.

I then used a white and red RCA cable to 3.5mm jack and after a bit of a reach-around, got it into the glove box with enough slack to let my phone rest in the cubby hole underneath the head unit. I may drill through the back of the cubby hole to make it tidier but who knows.

If you need any help, drop me a PM.

Right, I will give that a go when I am off.

One more question, does the CD changer in the boot get picked up on AUX on the headunit or by another way? The manuals are a bit vague on this!

I'm yet to entirely work that one out for myself. I'm using the CD changer as a backup for when the radio is dire or my phone runs out of battery. I had worked out how to select between that and the CD loaded into the head unit, I think it was mode.

Hopefully by the time you have got it all wired in, I will have worked out the answer and can let you know.

Ah right, well there is something up with mine then. If I am on CD1 which is the single cd in the head unit and press mode to get CD2 (which I now presume is the changer in the boot) it just says for me to reset it. Which I have done about 5 times already! Going to have to spend a day larking about with the headunit and wiring making sure its all OK now. frown

Hopefully my explanation of the 2nd pdf manual should help you solve your problems. Best of luck!

Don't go lower than 35mm.. After this it gets difficult.

Duly noted. What lower springs would you recommend? Koni, Eibach or other? I think they are both 30mm.

Are you speaking from experience? wink

Yep, from experience wink

I've got just Spax 30-35mm (Can't remember) springs on mine with standard shocks.. Its very bouncy to be honest, I've heard those ebay coilovers are good and <£200, but I bought these springs from Nutz for £30 so they'll do at the moment.

It scraps on speed bumps, carpark ramps, curbs.. Everywhere hehe

Only just seen this OP ^^

In a word - no.. Only because I haven't got round to it yet, I've been ridiculously busy with work over the bank holiday period the past couple of weeks, and my OH is now back from 3 weeks traveling around Thailand so she will take up %94.56 of my spare time for a while. I'm happy with the radio and single CD for now anyway but it is mentally stored in the 'to do' list along with slightly rusty arches, stainless steel exhaust, a good detailing session and various other bits.
