I think Ken @ Nine Excellence can get this done - as he showed me a beautiful pair of 6 Pot GT3 calipers that had just been completely re-done (paint, seals and pistons) and were about to go on one of his 996 Turbo projects - but you might want to give him a ring and check. smile

Just to blow some life into this thread. I have a tatty set of Brembo's I needed to send off for refurbishment.
Called Big Red and phone just rang, called them again and was told I would be contacted later. No one contacted me.
Called Brake Caliper Specialists and phone just rang. Filled in on line form and received mail back saying I would be contacted that same day. No one contacted me.
Called Godspeed, phone was answered, as were my (probably dumb) questions and a price given.

Although I thought I was being clever calling around all the specialists first, really only Godspeed gave me much confidence I would ever see my brakes again! So am using them. Will post again with results.
What was the cost? I've just fitted brand spankers from Porsche @ £1300+vat. I have a perfectly serviceable but crappy looking set for sale if anyone's interested!

+1 recommending Ian Godney.

From memory mine worked out about £85 each.. Although it should be noted they were not for a Porsche as such so maybe cheaper?

Hi,
Had mine done at BCS Long Eaton recently, worst job I have ever imagined, Slide plates distorted so you could not fit the pads, powder coating questionable, they managed to overspray inside the cylinder were the piston fits, no lacquer over the decals so they were already coming off before fitting, wrong piston fitted, slide pates covering the dust seal, over 51 faults and counting if you consider them all as separate items, no QC, and the attitude was awful, paid them 860 pounds for the worst job in the world.
Now spent 360 pounds for the paint and will have to go to a specialist to clean the powder coating from the cylinders !!!
Credit card company seem no use so will have to go via small claims court.
Avoid at all costs !!!!

I strongly recommend a company called Pro Calipers (or their trading name Addiction Motorsport). They're based in East London and the guy who runs it is called Thomas. He and the work they do are excellent. No affiliation, just a satisfied customer.

Have a front caliper that has just been replaced . Worth Ebaying, refurb and eBay, or just frame it , as a reminder of how much these cars are to play with?

Reading the above, I'm so glad I avoided BCS when I had some Porsche calipers rebuilt and refinished not too long ago. I ended up going with these guys: https://www.brakecaliperrefurbishment.com/

Pretty unimaginative name, but the work speaks for itself. Really happy with how the came our and would recommend. Good price compared to some of the other quotes I had too. biggrin
