It's a 3.2 from a proper vendor. Not really comparable.
I've bought a car from him before, too, and likewise paid 'too much'. But it's a premium for buying from a vendor who actually knows what he is selling and stands by his cars.
Sean as you say knows his stuff. I had a couple of issues which he stood by. Would I recommend him? Yes. Would I buy from him again? Yes absolutely. I've bought a car from him before, too, and likewise paid 'too much'. But it's a premium for buying from a vendor who actually knows what he is selling and stands by his cars.

Maybe he's a Tory ;-) Just kidding ATM ... looks nice but a 3k Boxster started this thread lol !!!
Any 986 going for more than twenty bags of sand is a bit rich. And certainly not poverty.
Do the 550's really carry that much of a price premium? I suspect you'd be looking at something to stick in the garage and hope for an increase in value (and at 25k miles it's already been used a fair chunk - it's not a sub-10k-mile-museum-piece) or you drive it an accept that it'll never be worth a great deal. Option 1 looks plausible if it's something properly rare but this is a 986 ....

They are a special edition and some people covet that in the same way that some people want a heavily optioned car. They are definitely fully optioned so should have cow all over the dash and door cards which seems to be hard to find on the later face-lift cars. They even have the full leather wheel which is also rare. So if you are chasing the best Boxster then is this a 550 with low mileage, only you can decide. But if you don't get excited by such things then the only real difference to the drive is the mo30, spacers and the 987 airbox which adds 7 bhp I think. Also GT Silver 986 cars just don't exist unless 550. I do quite like the Cocoa Brown leather with matching Cocoa Brown hood but that particular example has opted for grey so it's not a real 550 if you ask Me.

Of any interest to you guys? I know nothing of poverty Porsche’s. I follow the seller for their mini’s but spotted a rather cheap Porsche.

This might be really nice. '2000' 3.2 with the early clocks and mechanical boot releases, all the cow, hard back sport seats and 20k miles.
