Oh absolutely. I'm just not getting that kind of vibe from the inlet manifold t-piece that looks like its been welded from air con ducting!
Its got a BDS plaque on it. So I spent many seconds finding the company who sell it.

Having done a fair few mods on my previous 986, the intake might look a bit rough and ready but if it's effective with the 996 throttle body then so be it.

Despite the wing and a few other bits that might not be to everybody tastes I think there's an interesting story behind the car and it might suit somebody looking for a more track day weekend car. I'm sure there is more behind the advert. The shifter looks interesting, a CAE perhaps, the seats, unspecified but maybe expensive. Wheels you could probably sell on and go back to something more OE and make a bit of cash back too.

Their Instagram is interesting. Looks like they're doing some work with Hartech?

I found these pics showing some head flow improvements on the M97.

First is stock vs their v4 head.
Second is their v1 head vs their v4 head.

20% from a head alone?

I find that hard to believe.

At 2.8k that could be a nice little punt. Advisories are not very significant (although the suspension ball joint would require a re-geo) and could easily be knocked off in a weekend with a couple of hundred £ and a decent toolkit.

Summer toys don't come better at that price. And with a private plate and a good polish I bet most people would think it's worth nearer £28k, not £2.8k.

Although I'd really like a 997 C2S, I don't think I could run one as an only car (golf stuff) so this thread is very tempting. I should probably stay away! hehe

That's just showing the increase in airflow, not bhp.

This

Volume of air flowing through. Will affect bhp positively if other parts of the system also optimised.

Thanks. I stand corrected.

I'm loving the detailed advert! The headlights need a good polish and probably shows it's been outside a lot. Probably a lot of crusty suspension and exhaust fixings on that red one.

That's a little bit tatty, and the description is rather inaccurate to describe it as 'one of the last built', as it's not even a bridge spoiler model. Looks like it could be a relatively low-cost way into the 944 world though.

I can't believe 944 is a "thing" now. They used to invade "SHED OF THE WEEK" here with loads of insults... hehe
