I hate selling cars.
It is indeed, bloody annoying!I hate comparing but, shocking to see broke-ass teenagers, queue up for Iphone X on 999GBP or some designer Bags for nearly 2 grand, no questions asked. When it comes to old cars, people somehow becoming very anal/specific, very strange consuming behaviour.

They are already anal. I hate comparing but, shocking to see broke-ass teenagers, queue up for Iphone X on 999GBP or some designer Bags for nearly 2 grand, no questions asked. When it comes to old cars, people somehow becoming very anal/specific, very strange consuming behaviour.
Since the proliferation of information [the internet] it has forced people to believe - wrongly - that because they have more information they are somehow more knowledgeable. They are not. They have just become more anal.

Completely missed that (was that updated recently? I swear it didn't state that when I looked - still have a search bar with 'clu' in it).
That is a good find and reasonably priced.

I'm not sure what PIWIS can do re: mileage verification, however I do know it's possible to determine operating hours which can determine if the recorded mileage is likely to be correct.
Shame about the service history, but I suspect it'd be up for sale for considerably more otherwise. This is just down the road from me too, if someone from afar would like an opinion from a fellow impoverished Pork owner.

I suspect his previous comment was tongue in cheek. Lighten up
As for 16" wheels fitting an S - you'd have to try to be sure they clear the brakes. Not sure when diameter the spare is, but I suspect(?!) they're the same across all models, so...

I would add that while I haven't compared with 'S' prices, the cost to do brembo discs and pads on my (smaller braked) 986 2.7 was no more than my dads Skoda Yeti or any other boggo shopping car.
Having used them on track, they are not *mega* powerful however they are still big, feelsome 4 pot Brembo calipers front and rear, and thus far and away better than the usual sliding piston cheap rubbish on almost any other sporty roadster you'll pickup for 4 grand.
Good brakes and no rust, are two of the things I enjoy most over my past MX-5s.

I've only driven a couple of MX5 and found the steering wheel far too low. The bug thing for was didn't feel special like a Porsche and I dont know if I can define that better as I know it sounds dumb. I think the MX5 is appreciated because it is light and simple. I think the Boxster feels like its design is much better thought out.Having used them on track, they are not *mega* powerful however they are still big, feelsome 4 pot Brembo calipers front and rear, and thus far and away better than the usual sliding piston cheap rubbish on almost any other sporty roadster you'll pickup for 4 grand.
