I'm getting more and more alerts from Auto Trader as people clearly selling cars to try and bring in some income.
Not sure how you're supposed to go and view it and buy it though rolleyes

If you had the money and a cut-throat immoral nature then there will be plenty of bargains and haggling out there at the moment (meaning more of the higher end £50k stuff).

Not too bad if you are blind perhaps 😂 Tip, looks like maybe ruffled leather, wood trim, warts on the rear bumper. Cheap enough but not that desirable.

Luke.

It's a safe bet that wheel is knackered underneath, but a wheel retrim is under £200, although that is not a desirable spec all round. rotate

If you search for Porsche on Cars and Classic site there's ALOT more been listed this week than is the norm.

Not sure if this is 'poverty' but the sellers description is worth a read if you have a spare hour or so smile

Not poverty, but probably cheaper in the long run than a 14k car if you intend to drive it.

Looks like engine rebuild was at an OPC - does that sound right? I thought specialists were preferred as they actually fix the problems...

Also talks about what was in the early 3.4, but his is a 2001? Judging by all the detail in the advert the OPC rebuild invoice will be in there so you'd be able to check what's what. Look at how the market assesses the added value of a full Hartech rebuild, the consider the added value here is much less IMO.

Certainly not poverty, very much the top end of the market for a private sale. In the context of the Hartech rebuilt C4S featured heavily recently, and numerous other examples, that looks very over-priced.

You don’t get all of that - ‘service, plugs, belts, discs and pads, engine rebuild, A/C refurb’ - at an OPC for £5,476.45.

Cheapest I’ve seen rebuilds quoted at is £5k + vat, and that‘a from an unknown, and excludes removal and fitting. There’s well over 1k of work there not inc the ‘engine rebuild’.

If you take the rebuild cost out of the total then £30k on maintenance over about 20 years is £1500/year which isn't anything special.

I only posted as so much effort went into the advert text.

Also a C4, so not cable throttle.

Add is a bit of a laugh, but the car itself looks very nice, and it’s obviously been looked after.

Chris I thought you'd be appreciating the wheel spacing which looks very on point especially at the back.

Wheel spacing is perfect... and the centre colour is spot on too. Not usually a fan of aero, but that’s a great looking car.
