Actually the other way round - roof down on the 2.5, up on the 3.2! I haven't investigated, maybe it has had the snorkel removed, maybe exhaust modded - although the tailpipes look standard & the PO thought it was a standard exhaust.

They all sound great - although I was pondering the Carnewal mod for the 2.5. I don't think it'll be needed on the 3.2 I'm getting.
You can try the cheap and cheerful crios drilling mod or change the exhaust. IMO the 3.2 doesn't sound that great as standard. Mine sounds much more like a sports car without sounding like a Nova with a cherry bomb now it baa had a new silencer and manifolds.

Lose the GT3 badge and it looks a lot of car for less than £9k....and thats before the haggling starts rotate
Obviously if someone knows and more details about this specific car then fair enough.......

GT3 Badge would have to go, no history for last 14,000 it would seem, don't like the body kit, no holes but cracked leather and they 'think' it may be chipped? Doesn't inspire confidence overall for me.

fsh upto 74000 miles
mileage at 88000
body kit fitted
turbo alloy wheels
full leather interior
body work in great condition slight scuff to front bumper
which should be a smart repair
premier soft leather which has slight wear but no holes just slight
cracks from wear
i believe engine may of being chipped also from records
on roll and roll off testing

Well I just put down a deposit on some povery pork. A 99 2.5 boxster in blue with 88k miles and full service history. Last service was at 85k when a new water pump and disks/pads were fitted. I am hoping to collect it on Thursday so will post some pics at the weekend once I have given it a good clean.
To say I am excited is an understatement.

Was looking similar to the one you getting, how much did you get it for?

Of course picture of it would be nice. Congratulations on your purchase.

Slight problem with my Poverty Pork, that I wonder if you chaps could help with.

After sitting for a few weeks, the battery was dead when I had to take it for the MOT. So it needed jump starting.

It subsequently failed on emissions. Only by a small margin.

Could this be down to a DME re-set type issue, like you can have in 964 / 993’s?
They run rich / differently until they ‘sort them selves out’?

Any assistance would be most appreciated.

Cheers
