Turns out it was a leak in the exhaust, leading to lean readings.

All passed now and ready for some Poverty Pork action. Bring on the next Sunday Service and Le Mans 13!

Here is my slice of poverty pork. I picked her up on Thursday and drove it the 200 miles home and I love it. It is a 1999 2.5 manual.

And the funniest thing? Your neighbours will now all be convinced you are rich wink

Very tidy.

Ohhhh, looks lovely and would be my favourite colour too (to match my other Pork). Well done!!

Care to say how much? Was it private sake?

Thanks for the nice comments guys. It was £4750 from a dealer. 88k miles with full stamped up service history and all previous MOT's. last service included water pump and new disk/pads all round. I could have probably found a cheaper one but loved the colour of this one and had to have it. Gave it a good wash today and there isn't a mark on the bodywork.

I have always fancied buying a cheap porsche and now wish I had done it sooner.

Ok - here's mine

Picked it up this morning

It's a 3.2, 85k miles, bit of a patchy history but some really good recent work. £5K private sale.

Newish clutch, new hood (glass screen), refurbed wheels (which I will change for std 17's), new suspension arms, aircon fixed.

It has a full black leather interior with crested sports seats, and Litronic headlights

The litronics were fitted as options when new - I'm having second thoughts about replacing them with the standard lights, even though I do like the ambers... Needs a good clean, more pics when it's done.

thanks for that. It's surprising what a difference the side indicators make. Maybe do those and the rears first and see how it looks.

Mind you, selling the litronics will pay for a set of track tyres for the 944 wink

It was around £650 for the Boxster but the rumour is it is not available at them moment and has been this way for some 6 months.

That was quick, probably because it was £800 too cheap.

Sold it for 3200 . Had things coming up in April like tax, mot, service , insurance but still under priced . Pretty gutted to see it go actually . There was nothing wrong with it . Amazing car . Wish a porsche enthusiast had bought it that's why I put add on here

Any ideas on this little 'issue'?
When the Mrs unlocks her PovPork sometimes it gives 2 honks of the horn, similar to the warning honk it does when you lock it if something isn't closed.
Checked all the doors, boot, bonnet, glovebox, everything seems ok but still get the honks on unlocking and can't find anything in the handbook relating to this. confused
