For those who don't mind the Faceache, must be one of the last £10k 996s left.

I know it's an auto and it's got an MOT measured in minutes, but for some reason I'm getting OK vibes from it.

Mismatched ditch-finders on any car put me off immediately......... As for the Partridge-spec string-back driving gloves.........

It appears optically cheap, but it's a no from me due to box and tyres.

ETA - hadn't clocked the dubious smoked lenses. There's just a faint whiff of Barry about it, which is somewhat at odds with the driving gloves - too much to compute......

MOT history isn't great and appears to have some recurring emissions fault.

Driving gloves and umbrella thrown into the cabin for the sake of the photos to give a good impression, I suspect.

Definitely in the 'avoid' category.

The invoice for the refresh in 2016 alone came to £12,300.

But we are left to guess what this refresh included.

After four Z4's on the bounce I recently picked up this 987.1 to run alongside my 718 GTS 4.0. Really pleased with it and considering its 16 years old with 70K on the clock it scrubs up rather well.

I guess that the piles of paperwork are the service history, although he doesn't mention any history in the ad.

Early 3.4 with cable throttle is meant to be the reliable lump of the bunch, non?

Depends what you read but personally I wanted the 3.6.

One would assume the parts listed in the Ad, plus a gearbox rebuild.

Interesting car, but not poverty. One to discuss in the 996 thread though… those seats don’t look oem to me.

Aren’t they just re-trimmed GT2 or 3 bucket seats?
