Ranger I have a Cayenne with steel suspension and PASM. In sports mode it makes a real difference, the suspension tightens up and the turn in improves. Sort of like going from a bog standard Golf into a GTI. The first time I flicked it into sport I was amazed.

One of the reasons for asking the question was just that - with what I guess will be steel springs rather than the air on the Cayenne will PASM make all that much difference? I've never had adjustable suspension so would I really miss it? Also, coming from an X3 which does have a firm setup would it be worth the extra?
I've got air suspension and don't think I would get it on the Macan should I go for it.

It's been in comfort since I bought it and never felt the need to change, saying that it does appear to be a must have option and I don't know how bad the steel springs are.

Every car Porsche makes must perform so guess they have PASM in order to get the ring times;)

A work friend has a Cayenne turbo with air and pasm i think, when he sets all that in sport mode or what ever its called, it transforms the handling, it turns it into a weapon, its completely bonkers fast and handles very well for the size of the thing, it totally surprised me.

ps i think the air lowers the body, not sure though.

I guess the turbo might get air as standard?

I am more interested in the gearbox.

Think will be pdk as these will be for road use, where as cayenne is in theory meant to do the offroad thing hence tiptronic.

Interested to see if they put the same V6 petrol as Cayenne that would be the one for me.

Same on my S (except the bonkers fast bit) no air would be a deal breaker for me.

How long is there to the launch? The teasers suggested 30 something days - or is that to the LA show?
Was the start of the countdown to the LA Show

Like many cars these days it's very 'wheel sensitive'. Some of the shots I've seen on smaller rims just don't look half as good.

Interesting to see the clamshell bonnet as well.

Funnily though, I think the Cayenne is one of the best looking of the larger SUVs.
