I'm not one to get too concerned about things but what do you think of this?

It would be interesting to know the health of the engine/turbo's etc.

woo thats tempting. nice colour too.

shame they probably wouldn't let you take the tubing off the turbos so you could check the impellors...

Nice car but too expensive and of very limited market with that mileage........somebody has clearly loved driving it though!

I would think that any 'saving' one would be making by buying such a high miler could very quickly be eaten up with a few repairs!
Turbos £2K
Engine freshen £5-£10K
Shocks £2K
Brakes £2K

Would very quickly become an expensive car (an even more expensive car!)

On a positive note though, congratulations to the owner who purchased and USED the car as intended! Yay you!

It does say full OPC history, so it's possible that brakes/shocks etc. are as good as new, or at least reasonably fresh. Maybe even the turbo's / motor have received attention.

Henry will appear shortly and say 'buy on condition' which is the right thing to do - This car could be in better nick than an 80,000 miler, and someone could get a bargain.

( I bet the door checkstraps have been repaired as well - they'd never last that long! )

mmmm 28k you say ?

If I re mortgage the house and.. please stop showing nice cars for sale

It looks to have Red leather very nice colour combo IMO could a turbo car of such complexity still be ok at that high mileage? gearbox? propshaft bearings bushes etc?

There is a very nice black one for sale on PH and £49k If I remember right.

Just noticed the 1991 turbo 2 has been sold anyone here? looked a fantastic car

I'd buy it for £25k, regardless of mileage really. The things are engineered to last and this one proves how useable they really are.

At £35k it's a bit near to the £40k or so that 70k plus miles rhd cars are - didn't Joel have one knocking around for some time at around that price or was it lhd???

I think he did, it was RHD and around 38.5K if I remember rightly. Blue with red leather, wasn't it?

HELLO CHAPS

Yes we did have a RHD 993 turbo (1995-M) with 73000 miles on it (midnight with grey leather)
Immaculate car with fpsh
But nobody would buy it at £40000 because of the mileage.
All who saw it said lovely car but too many miles for a turbo.
A few people on ph saw it.
We got £38 for it in the end
I would'nt have one with over 50K again
Took 5 months to sell it
-
At the same time it took 3 weeks to get £46000 for a similar car with 45000 miles on it although it was 430 bhp upgrade
Mileage makes a huge difference to what people will buy and not buy.

Crazy really, as the 150,000 miler will almost certainly be mostly easy motorway use, whereas the 'mint' 20,000 miler could have done it all on the track.........

How strange.

Just doing the usual friday night thing, wait to do the last feed, check nice cars for sale.

I saw this car 5 mins ago and was about to post it on here!

150,000 is a big old number, but 1 owner and as somebody said probably all motorway (is that really any better?)

£35,000 is too a big number, okay, not for a 993TT but in my short time of looking for one a fair few have come on the market.

If the dealer looks at this I think if it got to high 20's there would be a queue round the block. I for one would be pushing in at the front.

Surely worst of all is the car that's spent it's life commuting from Fulham to the city?! Low mileage but high wear - top end f####d!

What's the ratio - 1000 miles in the city is equivalent, in terms of wear and tear, to 4000 in the country/motorway?!
