In July I was offered an August build for a September delivery but I decided to wait until next Spring to enjoy the car during the summer. So I am ordering very early for next year!! If I wanted an early car, I understand I could have an October build slot and a November delivery so no long waiting lists
Phew, thanks, was worried I had been given some bulls##t timescales for a second. Ta.

Lucky you didn't order a new car for 2012 in that case! UK weather renders such seasonal juggling irrelevant IMO.

Yup! Ozzie will be shocked to hear I agree with him. I bought a Ford Model A Phaeton Convertible in spring thinking it would be fun this summer. What summer? Fingers crossed for next year.

Don't get me started on how it's buggered up the trackday season.

Anyone got any real life pictures of the Platinum Silver with Carrera Red interior?

Looking at swapping my M3 and still can't decide on colours combinations

There are lots of GT Silver with the red interior, possibly for a reason. Looks very good.

I'd recommend that. I've found platinum slightly more difficult to match with certain things, and had ordered it, and have since changed. It's a very nice colour, but i don't think it works with the 19s, and it didn't work with the interior I wanted in the end either.

Best place to look is the car park at the back of OPC Reading, which is shared with GB HQ, and probably has a couple of hundred new cars in it. I ended up changing the day I visited, and my build froze that night, so it was a very worthwhile trip.

S

p.s. they also had a couple of Carrera GTs, a 959, a couple of 356s being worked on, and pretty much anything else you can imagine.

How are those that have their cars finding the paint quality? Any orange peel or other "defects" at all or pristine?

Those are the wheels (in the pic) I'd go with. I think they suit the car perfectly.
