Indeed, having seen it in the flesh, and this combination being used frequently by Porsche in their official publicity photos, I don't see what "could be so interesting". It combines perfectly the best exterior colour (bringing out the 981's fabulous contours) with a warm and practical interior colour.

Jeez what up, get out of bed the wrong side this morning? I just remarked that it could be interesting, which it will be, indeed I'd look forward to seeing it. Commonly people combine black or blue fabric with silver and in Porsche's case red. No need to be so touchy...

I think the brown/silver combo will look great. Not seen it in the flesh, but seen the pics and it looked great in those. I'm not so keen on that Yachting Blue interior though, I must say - an acquired taste I think, that one.

Nearly went for it myself, but bottled at the last minute and went for agate with agate/pebble full leather.

Spare a thought for overseas Boxster buyers. I just placed an order for a 2013 Boxster S and I have a confined delivery date of April 2013 (hence the 2013 model year). No point shopping around as we only have a single dealer in the country!!!!! Am as happy as Larry though. I said I would sell my 996 nearer the time delivery date but managed to negotiate with my better half so will be a two Porsche owner soon!!

Haha - fair enough though, it's your car. Not for me - I think, if I were doing the deed and stumping up the cash, I'd play it safe and have black tbh. Boring but always looks OK in my opinion.
