I'm a bit late to the game here, but it's almost certainly a 1976 912E and the colour is 1000% Olive! I say this as I have a 912E (albeit a different colour) and it's unmistakable in noise and poise. Great cars!

Gotta love PH - I started this thread almost 5 years ago - the registration document says 1977 911S and Porsche Origin say it's a 1977 911S in Jäger Grun or Hunter Green and we still have people resurrecting the topic to say it's an Olive Green 912 . . .
