Off to help a friend choose a car tomorrow - he has lined up drives of

991 Cabrio

Ferrari California

This being a Porsche forum, answers may be a little biased toward the 991... wink

What. - no GT-R in the list? wink

Would be the Maser for me (but never driven one...)

More remarkably there is no Audi TTRS on the list - possibly the fastest car ever made.

No doubt - 991 the best all-rounder out of that little lot.

For styling, noise, sense of occasion, feel, i'd be heading towards Italy.

Bentley - not sure. Love the SS coupe, but fear a rag top could make you look a bit of a sausage swinger, in the wrong hands

if the california doesn't have thr handling pack then its a very detached drive

Boxster is imho a better drive than the 911 and £40k less

therefore has to be the Maser

991 S with power kit. By far the best car I have owned, the speed, the noise, the way it turns! OMG.

Seeing as your mate obviously wants a Mercedes SL (instead of various other manufacturers attempts to emulate one) why isn't it on the list?

I bet you've spent a lot of time in the showroom sitting in one though.
