Finally picked it up today! Pity it's not summer but never mind.

The front has been protected with Xpel Ultimate paint protection film from Paintshield (www.paintshield.co.uk). Would thoroughly recommend them. It's quite difficult to actually see where the film has been applied!

Also, Porsche Silverstone were superb, particularly Craig!

Some at the dealership, some when it arrived safely at home.

Beautiful - many congrats - enjoy.

I have garage envy. Same floor tiles as the OPC showroom? Nice touch.

Congrats. That looks lovely. Is that a Riviera blue GT3 in the back ground?

Had my first drive of a 981 today - loved it! Preferred to the 991 as a road car.

Beautiful, absolutely stunning. Best garage I have ever seen ;-)

The car is nice too :-)

Be careful with your choice of wax or sealant - some will yellow your protective film.

Thanks for the advice. Paintshield mentioned this to me and sold me a special wax to use on the film protected parts which won't yellow the film.

Thanks. Not too sure TBH I didn't notice it until you pointed it out in the photo!

Arranged with Ann at Paintshield who then liaised with the dealership. They also offer the option to pick the car up from the dealership (or your house) in a covered trailer and then return. Never having seen it before, we went up to their unit in Peterborough to see examples of their work. Ann also did a demonstration where she attacked an example body panel which had the Xpel film ( http://www.paintshield.co.uk/ultimate-paint-protec... ) with a wire brush. After pouring warm water on it the marks just disappeared!

Full frontal kit (wings, bonnet, bumper, wing mirrors) was £1300 + VAT. I can see why some people would actually have the whole car done to be honest.

The front bumper does not look like a GT3.... GTS perhaps ?

Ceramics on a Boxster, that's rare!!
I specced a Boxster with ceramics a couple of years ago, I'd be interested to hear your thought process leading up to the ticking of that particular box. .

6k buys a lot of wheel cleaner!! but you're right, the wheels get dirty just the same but then clean up really easily, so yes, cleaner wheels!!

That is stunning. cloud9

Any pics from a better angle showing the roof up? The red roof with the white bodywork looks amazing.

Ceramics dont give of dust or a fraction of the amount, so wheels stay much cleaner. I've got ceramics and would spec them everytime. smile

Correct - it's on their site...

OP - lovely car - white/red seems a popular choice.
