One immediate thing I've noticed is that I have a much higher oil pressure at low revs....

Bumping this up, just had my lowest oil consumption ever - used about a litre in the last 3000 miles!

Changing the oil next week (10/50NT again) as it's been a long cold winter and my oil will be half petrol/water by this point ....

Yes, I noticed this too.

(from memory) When fully warmed, the oil pressure was just below 1 with the old oil but was closer to 2 with the thicker Miller oil.

The car also definitely felt better with the new oil. Very subtle, and only something you'd notice if you know your car inside out. Hard to say exactly what it was, but it was more than the placebo effect.

I live in Scotland, that was a cold winter, and the 10/50W was fine. It's not like normal 10/50

I started using Motul 300V 15/50 and Millers 10/50NT in my built 3.9 Mezger motor due to its high power and on advice from my engine builder but we had problems a couple of times with camshaft actuator throwing codes and some misfiring, the actuator was replaced once but in the end we reverted back to Mobil 0-40.the thinking being the the heavier oil is somehow blocking/fouling the actuator.
The Motul is a racing oil and those motors (which my engine man builds) do not use the variocam system.

That was 6000 miles ago and no problems since..... worth thinking about for variocam owners ?

Anyone know if the Millers Nanotech is good for a Cayman Gen.2 3.4 DFI engine ?

I do a few track days per year and would like to use the best oil available, any advice or experience welcome.

Just a bump for this thread, need an oil change in my 996 3.4 soon and was thinking 10w50 NT Millers.

Still all good reports from everyone using it thus far?

Not heard of any problems at all. High in molybdenum, which I think is a major help.

Yep, I'm still using it - no problems, albeit I'm not sure how wrong oil problems would manifest, except maybe using too much if it's too thin!

Just to contribute to this a bit as I was triple checking which Millers Nanodrive to use just now; It's the one with the yellow stripe down the side of the bottle, not the red, presumably due to some kind of science, it's also the dearer one.

Going in my 997.1S 2004 'melt edition'
