Are you looking at the same wheels? By any measure they are awesome. Fact.

Even 993s struggle with 18" wheels.

I like Sport Classics but theyre too large for the 964. In a 17" fitment theyd be better, but I still prefer Design 90s, or Cup 1s at a push, along with Cup mirrors.

Cool wheels, but those mirrors are only good with d90s.
With such lovely wheels you should get cup mirrors.

Any of these lovely 964s for sale? I'm in the market for a late C2 if anyone knows of a good one.

Off to pick up a set of 17" Cup 1's on Sunday smile

Anyone fancy some perfect black 16" cups with spacers for the 964, let me know.

Many thanks, had full geometry set up at the same time as fitting, so maybe a combo of both, but yes it feels a lot more planted. as a foot note, car is heading off for a re-map and 993 gearbox swap next week

Too late for the thread (and good to hear the OP has found some Cup 1s) but just to add that my second-favourite choice of Sport Classics is available in 17" size: http://www.alloywheelsdirect.net/porsche_alloy_whe...

Any reason why you want a late one? Except for the very low mileage 964s, early ones will have had a lot of work done by now. The issues with the early C2s; head gaskets, flywheel and small rear brakes will likely have been addressed now, bringing them up to the mild improvements that were on the late cars.

Fair point, it's not the age or mileate I'm thinking about. It's the points you've listed I'd want to know where dealt with.

In which case, try contacting Raoul (second post in the Rennlist thread below) who has a C2 to sell (it's not been advertised yet):
