PSM / ABS Fault
Discussion
My 2000 Boxster had this. The PSM/ABS lights came on together and stayed on, though.
I handed it back to Porsche they fixed it. Took them two weeks and, apparently, they were changing parts over from one that worked until it was finally sorted. I think quite a lot of the loom got looked at/swapped...
Not what you wanted to hear I expect.

I have a 996 C2 model 2000 'W' which seems to have a fault which is when you accelerate up to or beyond 5000 rpm both the ABS and PSM warning lights come on together. At all other times the systems seem to work properly and it always is at exactly 5000 rpm. Anyone got any ideas.
I had a similar problem on my 996 C4 1999. Both ABS & PSM warning lights came on when I accelerated hard. The fault was traced to the Air Mass Sensor which was replaced and its been fine since.
