Picked my 9e25 after service last week so I know the prices roughly for the 996 turbo. Think 997 Turbos are more.
9E40 = 2,895
9E38 = 6,495
9E32 = 12,995
9E30 = 15,995
9E25 = 26,995
9E20 = 44,995
plus the old tax.
You don't want to know the price of quicker than 9E20
and his place is full - he has 25 cars in most times I've been there, not just turbos of course.
He just had two customers picking up 9E25, has another 3 being done at that level and the project 9e xx was being done. Engine room has three turbo engines stripped for upgraded internals alone.

Silly question, but when the same tuning is applied to a GT2, ignoring the standard differences, where does the 4x4 turbo start to get faster than the 2wd car? As in once the GT2 is at say 9e30, does it become too powerful to deploy all of its power well?
If you set aside the weight difference, once the gt2 is going it will be quicker - around 12% to the wheels versus 20-25% depending on manual/tiptronic/4WD. 4wd will be quicker off the line generally. In terms of power, it is all about deployment. Our latest project 9e xx will be only RWD, but that has many benefits including less drivetrain strain, but then you have traction issues. In this project each gear is being extended to help with traction, as well as different speed of course. That will be running somewhere in the region of 1200-1600hp depending on final specs.
We also offer boost by gear, so this has a big influence, as does suspension changes and so on. Currently doing a gt2 to 9e25 specs which will run different boost levels for different applications, so no real problems with just RWD, just solutions.

More than one way to do this but if done correctly around 3-4 hours. Yes we have for manual cars a replacement LSD which is specifically designed for this situation. Not mandatory but certainly helps.

All I can say is that we have your car in for a week to do our tuning. I give you an example last week - 997 turbo in for tuning and to fit a customer supplied sports exhaust. 2 hours into our checks, the n/s turbo to intercooler hose upon being removed us full of oil. End of tuning - can you imagine running more load through a car that the check valve is not functioning on. So new valve fitted, resume checks and eventually tuning is completed after pressure tests, data logging and so on. Result - a happy customer.
This is my car And the difference to a stock turbo is incredible.
The important thing for me though was feeling 100% confident when handing over the keys to anyone. Ken and the team at 9e have spent a lot of time talking through options and explaining things in laymans terms. The communication both before and during tuning has been first class.

Ha Ha Ha....Brilliant....quite mad, but brilliant Have a look at the picture. Turbo on the left was running over 900hp and 17 seconds to 300kph. I think our new one on the right might just beat it somehow

Love it to be honest. I actually get more enjoyment out of air cooled now on a daily basis, but just need boost rush occasionally. I'm a little desensitise to turbos at the moment as once in the 9e17 makes everything else seem slow. Looking forward to the new version 9eXX when those turbos hit - hopefully we should break some records. Shoot me a mail on the other point.
I've had a lot of cars mapped at Viezu, and had my 996tt x50 tiptronic done there last year, they also fitted a Nouvolari 100 cell sports exhaust which I was told wouldnt be loud, it's actually almost unbearable with a terrible drone all the time. This cost £1700 all in I think the map was £399 on its own but I have had discounts as a regular customer, the car was showing 1.3 bar and even 1.4 for a second now and then, and was pretty scary compared to standard, it would spin all 4 wheels and squirm from a 2nd gear pull in the dry. I recently had the car serviced and I think the ECU was reset as part of the fault clearing process, the car suddenly felt like it was running 50% less power with boost showing 0.6 - 0.7 max.
The car was re booked into Viezu and the map applied, I drove away expecting the same scary quick car, but its exactly the same, im luck to get 0.7 bar on the display, the car is still slow and nothing like it was.
I've called Viezu and they have offered me a day on the dyno as soon as its set up as they have just moved to bigger premises.
I'm worried that I'll never see the same high performance again? I estimated the car was around 550Hp when running well, but now its not even making the standard boost of 0.8-0.9

Surley Viezu can put the same map back on and ensure car running at over a bar?!?!?! Was this like this as soon as you collected the car from garage?
The only way to change the map is to flash another one in there and I am pretty certain they would not do that easily!
There is something wrong with the car other than the mapping by the sound of it. You can't just wipe it by resetting the ECU memories. You need unlocking codes to program the DME with the Piwis diagnostic tester.
Get it checked out by someone who knows 996 Turbo cars.
We have these mapped by Wayne Schofield (Chipwizards) a nightmare to get a booking slot but one of the best in this industry. They constantly make 480 - 510 BHP after the mapping some have different exhausts and some are standard.

Potentially a boost leak,Could be a number of things including also n75 valve boost at only 40 quid or so and could fit yourself.
Boost leak it could be and the n75 valve Common for failing at one stage and can give results your seeing. If not that a boost pressure test is required to check for any leaks
