Rolling Road Day @ Surrey Rolling Road, Sat 5th October
Discussion
I am going to close this for any new runners on the dyno. We now have 16 confirmed cars to run, 14 for lunch and a full schedule from 10 am to 13:45pm.
Of course, anyone can still pay as an individual to run their car at SRR but you won't necessarily benefit from the discounted price or be guaranteed to run concurrently to us.
If you want to spectate and just join in the banter or peruse the cars please drop me a PM with your contact details.
Final details and instructions to come via email.

Here are the numbers from today! Figures are flywheel. Apologies for the formatting but this is as good as I can get it on a tablet.
I will let the owners explain any mods done but the PDK cars were all slightly down. Thanks everyone for coming. Lunch was also good. I hope to arrange another one in the Spring

Blimey, surely that must be a Varioram for the 993? If its standard, that's just about as rated when new. Rock on aircooled :-) I will let the owners explain any mods done but the PDK cars were all slightly down. Thanks everyone for coming. Lunch was also good. I hope to arrange another one in the Spring

Rock on air cooled indeed...993 is boggo standard 1997 variorum car but well looked after...only dropped 2 bhp since birth, a bit like Gazzer still be able to turn out for England. The cabriolet is an '89 with a recent top end rebuild and Steve Wong chip recently fitted, at 222bhp that's only 9 horses lost....that's like Jimmy Greaves rocking up in a white shirt doing keepy uppies asking for a turn out for 60 mins. Very pleased indeed!
And another vote of thanks to Ed, Charlie and SRR.
Some really varied machinery and a nice bunch of blokes that enjoy talking cars and and stuff! Good choice of pub for lunch too, so would highly recommend one of these trips!
Of course I'm over the moon with my power / torque figures (335bhp & 275lb/ft torque) - amazing from a bog standard Boxster S with only 2,000 miles on it - but PDK and or 4WD obviously does not make a happy combo with a rolling road, so some others had issues!
I think there were a few pics / videos taken - so lets post them up to share?

Thanks for organising another great day Ed. Could happily chat all day about cars and very impressed with the guys at SRR. Quite pleased I've gained 5BP since the last visit to SRR a few months back.
Look forward to the next one in the Spring.
Will have to see what I can do to coax a few more horses out my GT3.
