Went to have a look at a 1989 Turbo Cab. Overall the car looked very nice however I had a few questions that I thought you may be able to answer.

1/ Tyres, the fronts were Goodyear Eagle NCT3 (?), the rears were Marshalls (??????) - Are these suitable tyres for the car?

2/ Idle, the car idled at 1000rpm when warm, sound correct?

3/It was an import, origianlly from Italy, then exported to Ireland and finally ends up in England - what documentation should the car have to evidence these moves? If any?!

4/car had 129,000 km on the clock, was in good condition, with no rust that i could see Assuming no gremlins are found when my the inspection is carried out, what sort of money would this be worth?

Many thanks

Andrew

To be honest, anyone who can't afford to run matched tyres, can't afford to run a turbo properly.

That being said everything has a price.

If this was from a non-Porsche trader though, they might have just thrown a couple of tyres on the rear to get the car through an MOT or something, if it's a private buyer i'd agree with UV.

Good luck.

It was from a dealer, I'll have the car inspected and if it's decent use the tyres as negociating tool.

The car is left hand drive, it's originally from Italy according to the dealer, this is confirmed by the service history.

Gratefully await any feedback re price!
