Extra Wide Floor on....
To the eagle eyed among you, yes it's Mig welded. Reason being distortion on a large area of thin 2mm thick sheet is very easy to get if your not fast welder. So Mig is the better for me in this instance because a bent floor pan would bug the crap out of me... 1/2" plugs every 2" welded to the rails that where covered and stitched at the edges I can get at..

So far in my spare time its took 11 months roughly to get this far, hopefully If I push myself I'd like to see the engine started by the end of the summer and road ready by next summer, as there's going to be lots of body work to do....
UPS Day
Corvette to Porsche 108mm conversion stub shafts, rated at 600bhp each, should be a good safety factor there.
Twin 3 core radiators with twin 13" Spal fans, will need to make a Shroud for the fans and space them off the rad about 20mm.

The top shock mountings had a few revisions but this was my final solution. Keeping the shocks as long as possible was the aim so I have lots of threaded body for the springs and the Hyd lift Cylinder...
The 1.5" CDS tube was cut to slide the shock in. Then 2 bushes turned and offset drilled (Second smaller hole just for lightening) welded onto either side..

This thing is wide and long compared to my car....
Hope they don't make me cover to much of the rear up for road registration, it just looks mean...
No Disc's on at present so wheels are inside the arches 10mm more than they will be...
Having the gearbox take structural load makes the back end lovely and simple....
