We turned up about half 12 and just assumed most people had already left. Lovely 4 litre just left as we arrived.
Decided to give the Sunday dinner a go in the castle and almost walked out without paying it was so bad.
Pretty much the same . Not the best turn out . 4.0 was nice along with 3 or 4 other bits and pieces . Nice to catch up with a couple of people though . Also tried lunch which was terrible, but the hangover from Saturday ensured we ate it ! Didn't take the GT3 and was quite pleased when I saw the aggressive spring loaded no entry ramps at the exit . Decided to give the Sunday dinner a go in the castle and almost walked out without paying it was so bad.

Anyone else with low Porsches hear the lovely sound of metal on metal as they left?
I thought it might have been a problem ! I think you pulled in just as we where leaving ? Did you park next to the yellow 997 turbo . I was chatting with the guys there inc the RS 4.0 owner . Nice chap not sure if he's on here ?

Yes, that was a most unwelcome surprise. If it makes you feel any better - I really didn't enjoy it, I was asked to assist with the concours and judge the interiors. I spent nearly 4 hours nit-picking the most inconsequential stuff from some lovely cars that are people's pride and joy. All the cars where fantastic, Zeb's GT3, the 4.0, Orange RS or the track prepped 964 that left early where the ones I'd have liked to take home. I didn't get to speak to anyone I know or have a proper look around.
One of the concours entrants remarked that my car must be immaculate - I laughed as I hadn't even bothered washing it, I'd rather drive it than polish it.

Yeah that was us in the orange RS. Last one of these we went to was at hare wood house iirc, the turn out was much better.
Anyone take any pictures?
That was some time ago, we've been at Lotherton Hall for 3 years. Anyone take any pictures?
These things take a lot of time and effort to put together, and at the end of the day you are at the mercy of the weather. If no one shows up then the day is ruined. The weather forecast was crap, but it did turn out dry. For most of it. Finding a venue that will let you do what you want is getting harder and grader, so to get one that was free to enter is quite a coup.
Those bloody flaps though, gggrrrrrr!
