Ian, not sure you will see 60-70bhp gain from exhaust and headers personally.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KvHMXiN5wCs
By the way I think the stock exhaust actually sounds brilliant as it is.

What are people's views on ceramics vs. Steels - not from a performance perspective - more from a re sale perspective - is the perceived wisdom that , all things being equal , they are a positive if the car is a road car and a negative if the car is being bought to track (due to associated costs)
Do you think ceramics will increase or decrease the likelihood of sale on an average miles car come re sale ?
Cheers

It very much depends on the buyer obviously but personally I wouldn't touch a car with ceramics simply because although they may well be fine and last for ages, it's a potential headache I don't want to have and I'll be a 95% road user. Do you think ceramics will increase or decrease the likelihood of sale on an average miles car come re sale ?

In terms of value used might make a small bit of difference, 3-4K at a guess in a years time? To get an idea look at 991 gt3 prices for cars with both and compare?

Ian, that sounds lovely..... I'm so glad someone on this forum has had the balls to take the leap to start doing some mods.... Really excited to see if you get real gains with this set up please post the dyno runs before and after!https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KvHMXiN5wCs

Yes well done for modding it... Id be interested to see what gains you get. I think you need to spend about 20k generally to get 911 3.8 levels of power from engine mods... I think I read that somewhere?!!it's all been done and tested, from an exhaust only you might get 5bhp but you loose torque up the rev range with the fabspeed so a big NO NO for me
you get more torque at 3k revs but who is driving a GT4 at 3k revs !!! you will never see 3k revs bar in 1st gear.
if you do the correct mods which is tried and tested you will see a real 415BHp, as the restriction is, the GT4 uses the standard Cayman 72/74mm throttle body NOT the 991 one which is 83mm.
so you can fit all the st you like, the throttle body is restricting the air in, so hence fitting an exhaust is pointless.
One owner from who fitted the IPD thought they lost power so took it back off.

Then f**k off, but you can't, because your entire aim in life is to antagonise others on here. If you have indeed sold your GT4, it would be incredibly hypocritical of you to suggest this yet avoid putting miles on the clock (same as speccing for someone else really). I would call for the custard test, but knowing how you operate, it is likely you took multiple images of your car with a variety of fruit (and custard) on it just in case someone called you out This resale crap is doing my head in on here atm, what's wrong with people !!!
Back to the GT4...

To come back to the subject of the GT4 and not talking about you (again), has anyone heard any more on production - is there more still to come?
