What's the going rate for 991 GT3 SW supplied and fitted? My local Porsche indie have quoted 1950...reasonable?
We are stocking the Sharkwerks 991 GT3 upgrades in the UK but I'm out of the country for Xmas. Will be in touch on my return but you don't need to be paying £1,950!Have a good one, Chris

What do you guys think of disconnecting the valves?
The guy "Matt" in the states has his Sharkwerks by pass fitted and has now disconnected valves too.
In the videos below you will see the car dyno'd and the conclusion they reach is that the car has more torque and power with them disconnected as well as a more pleasing exhaust note and the absence of "annoying" valves opening and closing.
They also conclude the valves have no purpose other than sound management.

Don't want to take away anything from the likes of SW.. and am tempted myself even before taking delivery... but I was wondering if a home-made solution was not possible... after all we are talking about a SS bypass.. not something exactly rocket science..
I had read good things over the years about these guys.. and I see they were doing something for the 997 GT3/RS.. re the centre muffler.. so maybe could be adapted the 991 ? And costs SENSIBLY less and is UK manufactured..

+1, looking at the photos of the SW pipe, it looks a fairly basic fabrication job, not exactly tuned headers?I had read good things over the years about these guys.. and I see they were doing something for the 997 GT3/RS.. re the centre muffler.. so maybe could be adapted the 991 ? H&S are good guys, i'm thinking that if Ian had a sharkwerks to copy it would make his job easier although i'm sure he could just do it from the standard silencer. Ive said before i like the SW but £1300 for a small amount of stainless is a bit trumpy!I had read good things over the years about these guys.. and I see they were doing something for the 997 GT3/RS.. re the centre muffler.. so maybe could be adapted the 991 ?
