Apparently, the woman who was driving was a 'friend' of the owner and confused the accelerator pedal with the brake!!

It seems having money is no indication of talent or intelligence?
Financial means is no indicator of driving ability ......... :http://www.carscoops.com/2014/11/update-mclaren-p1...

That'll polish out
To be fair that isn't that bad, I've seen worse. If the woman had any sense she'd have stopped off at a breakers yard or called Porsche-apart, stuck on a gen 2 Cayman s bumper in seal / atlas (only 5 screws to change), swapped the alloy with the spare wheel, then got it valleted, yes it wouldn't be perfect but the owner probs wouldn't have noticed unless he looked at it really carefully when she brought it backSlippydiff said:

Good grief and you'd think the owner would take at least a bit of time to acclimatise to the performance of such a car before shouting "watch this!" and hitting the loud pedal (assuming that's what happened of course )http://www.carscoops.com/2014/11/update-mclaren-p1...

Except the owner was sat along side her. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NDUqQIPgfTk#t=231
If this guy had just braked, wouldn't the car have stopped in time? It cant have been going very fast at all and has a lot of rubber to use.

Well then she should have carried on as though nothing happened, turned the radio up so you wouldn't hear the flat tyre, and driven to a supermarket with him, then acted all shocked and indignant on treturning to the car and blame the ding on someone who parked next to her that's what I'd have donejakesmith said:
