You should use her for a few weeks after the tractive installed end of June smile

She goes into 9e for her second round of mods today focusing on chassis.

GT2 engine mounts
GT2/3 RS brake cooling ducts front and rear
Tractive coilovers
Gearbox mounts
RSS rear toe steer kit
Brake callipers to black

Very excited. Final touches to my daily snotter before I confirm which shop gets the re paint with GT2 aero and maybe even full strip to bare shell and full colour change to Porsche factory standard smile

From this to this would be nice evil

If anyone with a 997 turbo wants to pop down to 9e to try new tractive touring line or see what their 700PS 9e 28 tuning kit is like feel free to reach out to Ken at 9e. He will have my turbo for a few weeks dialling in the new suspension etc.

I drove our 991.2 turbo s back yesterday from 9e. Be very interesting to benchmark this Tractive suspension against the 991. Will also benchmark against 997 .1 turbo with lowering springs with DSC and friends who have both B16 damptronic comfort and clubsport wink

I'm very happy with the way the car goes indeed. I actually hope the new suspension isn't a step too far for me. I love the supple ride on our poor UK roads and spending 5000 miles a few summers ago with a 9m 993 RS convinced me my turbo should really handle a bit better wink
Im, can you share the spec of the Tractive kit you are having installed, I looked at the new UK distributors website and I can't quite work out what is what ?
Also what make, specific type (link if poss) and rating of springs will you be having ?
TIA

As far as I'm aware they're the first set in UK for a 997.1 turbo of their new Touring Line. No different to your Tractive other than top mounts so I'm told but worth you speaking to Ken/9e they've been heavily involved with UK spring rates etc. He's told me the rates but my fish brain has forgotten hehe

Thanks Toby.

I'm currently on the softest springs available for a 997 turbo way softer than stock. H&R -20mm progressive springs. 30nm up front and 50nm at the rear.

The Eibachs are 40nm and 110nm and they've been developed/chosen for this UK Touring Line Kit. Here's list of spring rates for all our models. If they're too stiff (a possibility) we will of course change them. No other parts needed for a 997.1 turbo has all the stuff for tractive to work from factory. Straight plug and play.

What rates are you running on your swift springs front and rear out of interest?

Mine are 336lb/59NM 616lb/108NM.

I guess the way the springs actually deliver their ratings will be different between different manufacturers.

Few more pics. Slowly getting there been waiting for slotted 380mm Brembo front discs which have finally arrived. Hopefully get her back this week with new suspension bits.

9e pricing up OEM GT2 aero for me and a set of heated folding buckets and stripping then sending to OPC Reading restoration team for repaint. Nice to be making her my own actually still not decided on colour.

That green (viper?) would be fantastic

Love the GT2 look but would get the centre front lip colour coded

At the moment plan is to stay black so I think last minute change to gold callipers should work well.

If green the contenders are signal green as above, mint green or oak met green.
