Not sure why, but I really like it; especially with sand leather... That said I would never spec it on a new car, but I admire those brave enough to do so.

Absolutely right. Individuality and personality ? Bah, humbug.

Far better to have black, white or blue like every other one on the road out there ............. banghead

love it, nearly bought a macademia coupe last year - had the advantage of also being the cheapest on the market at the time - guess most people don't like the colour

Not a million miles off my Agate paint/ Amber leather combo - good job I'm not selling it anytime soon by the sound of it!

Jesus wept that is awful, and as a Cab how could you ever have the roof down exposing the interior and the driver to ridicule. I'm all in favour of individuality but sometimes surely better that the OPC step in say no.

Seriously, who is going to want that one?

You'd be surprised. When I bought my 991 I was looking for an anthracite brown one. Some people (me included) like the different colour combinations. My 997 was green with natural brown. Got a decent trade in and it the dealer sold in a week.

Smaller market but there are always people looking for them, and if they want a different colour, there's a lot less choice.
If you have a black on black for sale, there's lots of competition out there so it needs to be better than the rest, or priced accordingly.

I think it is stunning; I have no wish to own a cab or a 991 but if i did this colour combination would seal the deal for me.

My favourite colour combo for a 997 is forest green with tan interior- I've seen virtually none for sale
and the rare times they do crop up they seem to sell very quick.
Not everyone wants the common popular colours....

The customer got exactly what they wanted, and couldn't give a fook what the next buyer might think.
Fair play to them
Speccing a car to appeal to someone else, is what should be ridiculed......

Me, most definitely if I was in the market. As always when I was as looking for a 997T all there was was black, grey and silver. I wanted cobalt, speed yellow, macadamia or something else different. Did see some sand interiors and I think its much better than black. Mine's cobalt and black (the latter helping with 2 young kids!).

I'm not really a cab fan on 911's but that sand interior with the roof down on a 997T will look a million dollars.
