Just as an aside, best solution I've found after having previously used Mobridge & Dension is a gadget called an OASI interface which connects into your MOST fibreoptic loop and then provides a Parrot interface to a Bluetooth kit such as a MKi-9200.......just thought I'd share as I think there might be someone selling the whole kit on ebay just now with 8 hours to go and I'd hate for you fine porsche-loving folks to not have the opportunity to bid if you happened to be looking for a great phone & music sollution for your car....... wink

Just replaced my whole PCM 2.1 with Pioneer AVIC touchscreen set up that has everything from DAB to sat nav and Bluetooth phone. Light years ahead of the original kit and looks great with matching surround trim. And to think I was going to get the PCM2.1 repaired until PH massive suggested replacement. Thank you.

Sorry to hijack this thread but drmark did this involve finding a connection to MOST or was it a full replacement? And sorry to ask but would you mind telling me how much it cost? (Happy to be PM'd if you prefer) Thanks.

Unit was £629 Pioneer AVIC-F970DAB
Fitting, DAB aerial, extra microphone for voice control/phone, USB port in glovebox and (quite expensive) adapter / interface to existing wiring/optics (so BOSE and steering wheel control etc all work) was £450.
Could have gone cheaper on unit but very happy.
Looks OE at a glance (closer look reveals Pioneer logo).
Has CD/DVD, Bluetooth phone, Nav, DAB, Apple Car play etc etc.
Can't take picture as my wife has taken it on a trip for a few days.
All works seamlessly. Except CD loader in boot which had to be disconnected.
