What next ? Need a new toy

911 GT3 and 9934S - happy with that combination and feel very lucky
Pondering a Boxster GTS or Cayman GTS but as I spec them up I get to £75,000 - no thanks
So ..... what next I wonder and oddly I fancy something comfortable for motorway driving, all used cars about 2-3 years old + £45000 budget
Audi S8
MB CLS 63 AMG
Audi RS6
MB CL63 AMG (big car!)
BMW M6
Needs to be fast and comfortable and not Aston or Maserati ..... does not leave much !
Thoughts ??

I'd get an M5. I've had mine a couple of months and its brilliant. Crushing seemingly endless amounts of pace, great for long journeys, can do relaxed driving or can be a complete maniac. I took mine around the Scottish Highlands last month, it was brilliant hooning around the great roads there and drove back to London in complete comfort.

M5 ? What vintage ? The new model
The older ones are beginning to get good money but are now 10 years old
The new model is epic if you want a fast, comfortable cruiser that can then turn into a complete animal at the touch of a few buttons. A mate of mine took his on track last Saturday and it was mightily impressive! The older ones are beginning to get good money but are now 10 years old
If a Panamera is too large, I suspect that an M5 will have a similar footprint. I'd be tempted to suggest an M3 as an alternative which would tick lots of boxes. But at the moment, from your short list, the itch I'd like to scratch is the RS6 - bonkers performance and a decent boot. Can't understand why BMW won't give in and revert to offering an M5 touring - completely missed opportunity for them and us!

Yes an F10 M5. It is big as noted above - suits me as it doubles up for kids school runs, for my bike and my daily driver. I think its a great companion for the 911. The older ones are beginning to get good money but are now 10 years old
