How D , great shots - how did it fair in the wet ? Mines arriving in less than a month - all very exciting , Cheers
Hi RIn the 991GT3 when its wet like this, I tend to press on find the limit of the grip, then just wind it back a bit, seems to work well for me when on track in wet conditions.
Did the same in the RS, only difference was the more I pressed on more and more grip became available, I thought the track was drying out, but it was the aero just pushing the car down, also the tyres seem to be big a big improvement over the ones on the 918 and GT3, with regard to low temp and wet grip.
But for me its the aero that sets this car aside from other GT cars, drives more like a single seat race car imv, never driven any car outside an F1, that feels so planted at very high speed, in addition to low and high speed corners....
Also the braking is on another level, due to the DF just one push and it scrubs of massive speed.

If you can find an aero advantage on a wet track, you should be racing in LMP1.
If I tried to do these speeds in a GT3, I would have been off long before....the more speed the more it felt planted...Like I said only car I have driven round there in the wet that felt like this was a Formula Renault, and a 97 F1 car.
I am no expert though I have had all my RS cars in the wet at the Nurburgring, most recently the 991RS and I can say that it was just unbeleivably better than the 997.2 which was no slouch. I recall how twitch that car was in heavy rain ( and the 7.1 was just scary for me). The 991 was so sure-footed that I could not believe it. Also, on the F1 track at the Ring it was possible to do some sill stuff with all of the runoff there and it had the most predictable and mild inserter I have experienced.
Maybe really advanced drivers will have less difference, but for me it was just startling......
