Just to say a massive thank you to Darren and Joel for making it a joy to buy a Porsche of them.
I picked it up yesterday and I must say I was amazed at the work and detail they put into the car, if you are thinking of getting a Porsche these people have got to be one of the best indies out there.

Always good to hear of decent dealers. Given the "no name and shame" regs on here, I think it highly useful and important that decent outfits get the recognition they deserve, in order that other buyers have a change of navigating the waters.

Echo that of the OP. Bought my 996 Turbo from RSJ last year and was very impressed with level of detail and care.

Same from me here, great guys and sublime car preparation. Bought my 996 turbo from them in 2012, still own and love the car. A truly hassle-free buying experience, along with excellent back up.

Snap bought my Slate Grey X50 996 turbo from Darren/ Joel back in 2012. Servicing is also excellent with Martin in the workshop.

Would recommend them and consider them in future if I part with my 996 turbo.

This thread is very reassuring: I put a deposit down on a 997.1 Turbo at RSJ this morning. I collect it in a fortnight. Really looking forward to the whole experience.

Congratulations sure it'll be fantastic. They had a nice looking manual grey 997.1 turbo in a few weeks ago which didn't hang around for long.

996 and 997 turbo's are great cars.

Thanks very much! It's my first Porsche so it'll be a brave new world for me. Joel seemed great though so I'm sure to be in good hands.

I've just purchased my Porsche so went around a few places.

The top 2 independents on my list ended up being RSJ and RPM Technik.

I went with RPM and they were AMAZING too and very competitive on the price - will definitely by a repeat customer of theirs!!! smile
