What is derivation of 'chop' and what does it mean?
Northern slang (i think) for when one makes a fool of themselves or embarrasses themselveshttp://www.standard.co.uk/sport/cricket/andrew-fli...

Not irritating me as such. I guess in a small way I have benefited, my 997.1 manual turbo is probably worth a couple of k more than I spent on acquiring+getting in tip top nick. Would be delighted to sell for net zero in a couple of years, as I just wanted a car that wouldn't lose me much.
However I am getting to the point of looking forward to the burst bubble and all the ensuing egg on faces, which is rather uncharitable of me I guess
Well don't hold your breath son, no bubble be bursting, the modern world don't work like thatHowever I am getting to the point of looking forward to the burst bubble and all the ensuing egg on faces, which is rather uncharitable of me I guess

Contacted JD Classics on this lovely 1978 911 turbo (not sure what LM stands for). Its been restored so expected it to be in region of £75 to £100k tops as LHD. £335,000
So asked what the 1983 MB 500 SL (again restored not original) standing next to it was up for. £125,000

I just bought an '89 G50 Coupe for £80k, which I intend to use fairly regularly during BST.
Whats the spec mileage? Be nice to see a pic and how many miles a year do you intend to cover in her?I'm away and it's currently at Porsche Swindon having its 24,000 mls service. Very pretty little car.
I had two in the '80s and a CS for 12 years, and just wanted to get back into a really nice 3.2 that still looked, felt, smelt, and drove like a new one. I'll use it regularly through April to October.

Geneve what's the colour combination?
Guards Red with full black leather, sports seats (piped red), Sport spec but no rear spoiler (supplied with two engine lids - with and without), FPSH, 23k mls, 3 ownrs, etc. Nice original example I've seen this car and had a good snoop around a few years ago. 78000 mile 3.2 G50 Carrera Coupe in Guards. Guess price before looking at link if you can!

Bargain - lovely looking car in good nick - but that's quite an ask . I sold mine a year or so ago to make room for the 964 Turbo . It had 109,000 miles on it , G50 , immaculate , Guards Red and Black inside , exactly as this one - I sold it for £K 35 to a dealer who sold it for £k 41 . So to the dealer of this one - good luck LOL http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/p...

OPCs seem to be selling more 'classic' Porsches these days, but the asking prices often seem to be extremely optimistic. For £95k it would need to be very low mileage. At 78k mls, I'd say they've got the 5 and the 9 the wrong way round. Mind you, haven't they also got a restored RS at almost twice the going rate?http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/p...
