I would have believed you without a photo
But I can't see any rears for sale currently - would you mind sharing your secret supplier please?
ETA don't worry - I've found some.
But not listed on Camskill or Oponeo or any of the usual suspects.
As you were and thanks for the photos!

at my age seeing the bloody tyre size is the first problem, remembering that its a 40 not 45 in the time it takes me to get back from the garage is the 2nd. But I can't see any rears for sale currently - would you mind sharing your secret supplier please?

I did at one time run a 265 Toyo rear so I wanted to make sure the size was right,
But well worth the investment - I have Pilot Sport 4's on the "winter wheels" but I much preferred the way the car felt on the Vredestein Sessantas
Thread hijack alert.
I had Sessantas on 18s, and did think they were very good, but I was comparing with S02 on 17s before, and MPS4 on 17s now.
I thought the S02s were brilliant, and I did Nordschleife and Spa on them in a 12 month period.
Can you say how are the MPSCup2s in comparison with S02 on the track?
Here's a photo of the Sessantas, to try and give something back to the topic

Never had S02’s on anything... But it’s a road tyre - the cup2 Is a trackday tyre so on track I imagine it’s night and day, Unless it’s raining in which case it’s like night and early evening.
What I will say is that I have MPS4’s on my e39 M5 and on that they are stunning.

SO2's were standard fit on TVR Griffith 500's. They work well in the wet. What I will say is that I have MPS4’s on my e39 M5 and on that they are stunning.

I found the S02 was a road tyre that happened to be a brilliant track tyre. Works best when hot, really strong, sidewalls and construction, tread didn't fall apart, blocks were all big-enough/long - I thought they were well known for being the best to get to and from the track, as well as round it.Back in the day.
