Thorough winter clean. I think one more wash before rolling her away.

Since we're doing Orange...

Parked The Carrot (Boxster S) in a hotel car park near Port Grimaud last year. When I came out one of its French 911 cousin had turned up and parked near me! Inverse colour scheme completely coincidental...

How about a real-world photo, gloom, rain, and yes mud!

MOT day.

The good news is that it passed - the bad news is only 752 miles in a year.... smash

It appears that your miles may have been of a significantly higher quality than mine hehe

ETA

My CO and HC values are always tiny (sometimes zero CO) at fast idle - maybe some old cars are less polluting than others.

Apologies for going o/t on this thread (one of the most enjoyable on PH) but what do you do for insurance if you're driving circa 500 miles a year ?
Do you still pay for a whole year or is there a more economical way of doing it ?

Sorry I cannot help - I'm older than Montgomery Burns, so my annual policy (with 5k miles) is almost free. There's no point in mucking about.

Whilst doing a bit of welding in the garage today, I was moving cars in and out and took this picture. Couldn't help notice the size difference. The 996 is considered relatively petite by todays standards but this really does show just how much modern cars have grown, the Alfa looks like a little toy car by comparison:

I had a 5000 mile a year policy which I dropped to 3000 miles with classicline. I honestly start off the year meaning to do more miles but with 3 kids at 18 months.3 years and 5 years time just disappears. I am also awfully fussy about parking next to 's so don't use it for the shopping run!

Me too. Carrera 997.1 3.6 C2 £290 per annum... almost half the road tax and yet only cover circa 3K miles. Begrudge paying that much road tax TBH. frown but should the money even come into it , if you love her laugh
