Not mine unfortunately, just a photo I thought may please a few on here However I would think it will be a ‘Special order’ or, do they call it ‘colour to sample’ i.e. the colour of the wife’s favourite shoes.

I'm overjoyed. If the car was suddenly worth £150k I'd be all mixed up about whether I dared to drive it and put miles on it, would I dare drive it to the shops? What if it got a dent? Will someone follow me home one day and try to steal it? Do I need extra security and insurance. I definitely couldn't take it on a track day.My car's value is in the perfect driving position and control weights. The feel of the road through the steering, the balance, the performance, the way it smells, the way it looks.
If the world at large doesn't see what I do it's the equivalent of having a partner you think is the most achingly perfect person in the world and no-one else sees it.. doesn't that just make it feel more special?
Not really, there have been quite a few tiptronics with similar mileage advertised at £25k.
There are a couple at the moment.
One with 68k miles for £32k out there.
So £23k including the 6% on an auction, which comes with risks in regards to how much will need spending on it to get it to be worth £25-28k I think is about right.
I think it is more that we have just got used to people over paying on the Collecting Cars auctions.

There is a 3.6 Tiptronic 997.1 (80K miles) on Collecting Cars up for auction today. It finishes around 7.20p.m. This evening. It will be interesting to see where the sale price ends up compared with this 996 Turbo at £21,500There are a couple at the moment.

I know given the choice I would have the 996 Turbo all day long... as most on here would I’m sure.
