Another "Wales is open" photo set
One advantage of keeping it under a cover is that if you don't see it for 2 weeks, it always feels special uncovering it...
(Every number OCD was answered by the trip meter right at the start of the drive!)
I then discovered Wales' very own mini-NC500 with the single track road between Garth and Tregaron
It started off narrow and made me VERY glad the 2015 Boxster S aint a heavyweight!
As every twist and turn unfurled, I just kept getting more and more slack-jawed with "wow" and "ooh" comments...
Had to stop for one arty shot. I should have stopped much more as there were so many opportunities, but this amazing driving road was near deserted over 20+ miles on a glorious day.

Good Sir! Is this your car: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=q4jJhjdNTc4
It looks like an absolutely Gem of a car and a joy to see it being enjoyed on such trips. There's something truly wonderful I'm a big fan of a well kept high mileage car. I've done the North Coast 500 as a passenger in a 180,000 mile old C2 that would shame most 50-60k mile cars for sale.
Sure, it's a bit of triggers broom on the suspension front but the original engine is tight as a drum and the bodywork looks immaculate.
That sound when you first hear the engine in this video is just spine tingling. I bid on this car last year on collecting cars but in the end let it go. It was hard for me to put a value on and I bottled it, it was getting too close to the limits of my budget and I could picture the nightmare if I won it at that money and it needed a big spend. Well done sir.
I don't regret the car I ended up with, I feel very lucky to have bought back my old 996 turbo but when I hear that sound I reserve the right to feel envy ;-P

Some great photos and so many of these small mountain top roads in Wales. I have a favourite too, in Snowdonia national park, but patches of it have worn very smooth, you have to be very careful when wet!One advantage of keeping it under a cover is that if you don't see it for 2 weeks, it always feels special uncovering it...
