Thanks….I’m loving it…but not as much as a 993 turbo

Gone but not forgotten….
You've just upped the game several notches there! If there was an F40 next to that GT3 RS and you had the 993 turbo out on the drive as a daily.. that'd be the single best real world garage a man could have to me.

Real world being cars I'd actually dream of living with, not driving for a day

Winter has fully arrived, so my 996 C2 goes into hibernation (and with a list of servicing/things to repair etc).

I like the black wheels on the GTS particularly with blue, but I would say that:

But then I swapped to silver for the next 911:

I want to like gold, but it’s just a reach too far for me…. They do work well on a GT3 and that seems to be a theme if you look at the GT3s for sale on the approved site at the moment.

Flashback of an April 2019 Speedgelb meeting:

Nice privateer innitiative to invite any owner of a Speedgelb Porsche to a C&C meeting.
This 964 Turbo was my favorite.

Did you ever saw a more handsome 996?

OK, no Speedgelb but any yellow within range gets my vote.

I think it's time for an international meeting.

That would be everyone's favourite.

What... just yellow cars? I can see it working if you invited blue cars as well.

Sadly, the rear lights remind me of anything other than a Porsche.

It’s an age thing.

It's the opposite for me, the full width light bar reminds me of the full width reflector of the G-Series up to 993.

Wasn’t the rear full width light reserved for the 911 4WD cars initially? Firstly as a reflector & later as a light. confused

It was first reintroduced as a reflector on the 996.2 4S.
