Lovely. I did a similar route into Italy many years back in a TVR Griffith, roof down (it was a fine day) and you could feel the difference in humidity almost as soon as you crossed into Italy. The climate effect from the Po valley is amazing.

That notwithstanding, I think on a dry day, the fun-factor equation would be firmly in favour of the 4.0.
